The dealer-channel line, not the supermarket brand.
BioGuard is formulated for pool and spa professionals and sold through authorized dealers like Highland Pool & Spa — not the grocery-store aisle. Higher active-ingredient ratios, cleaner chemistry, longer hold times between treatments. The water sits clearer. The household stays out of it less often. The equipment lasts longer because the chemistry isn’t drifting through the gray zone every weekend.
Five minutes at the counter.
- Bring a clean cup of pool or spa water — drawn from elbow-depth in the last hour or two
- We pour it into the BioGuard ALEX analyzer at either showroom
- Within five minutes, you get a printed read on chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium, stabilizer, and total dissolved solids
- We point at the bottles you need — and only the bottles you need — on the way back out
- If something’s stranger than the printout (cloudy after shock, persistent algae, salt-cell weirdness), we sit down and work through it
- Free in-store water testing
- BioGuard ALEX at both showrooms
- 5-minute printout
Right chemistry on Monday is a clear pool on Saturday. Wrong chemistry on Monday is a green pool on Friday.

-
How often should I test my pool water?
Test with strips at home two to three times a week during swim season. Bring a sample in for a full ALEX test every three to four weeks, or any time the water looks or smells off.
-
How much water do I need to bring?
A clean cup is plenty. Draw it from elbow-depth, away from a return jet, and bring it in within an hour or two of drawing for the most accurate reading.
-
Can I bring spa water, not just pool water?
Yes — bring spa samples too. The ALEX system reads both. Spa water is typically tested every two weeks during regular use and any time you drain and refill.
-
What if my pool keeps going cloudy no matter what I add?
That’s a chemistry conversation, not a chemistry sale. Bring the water in, bring the recent test history if you have it, and we’ll sit down with you. The fix is usually one of three things — filtration, stabilizer, or a stuck pH — and it’s quicker to figure out across a counter than over the phone.
-
Do you sell salt for saltwater systems?
Yes. We carry pool-grade salt at both showrooms and can recommend the right cell, the right monthly maintenance, and when to replace.
Bring a water sample to either showroom.
Pull a clean cup from elbow-depth in the last hour or two. Walk it in. Five minutes on the BioGuard ALEX system tells you exactly what the water needs — and nothing it doesn’t.
